Garden Valley Neighborhood House The residents of Cleveland’s Garden Valley Neighborhood are some of the most socially and economically segregated in the city. Whether providing food to a grandmother who is raising her grandchildren, coaxing seniors to exercise weekly and reduce salt intake, offering free training in construction skills to help adults become more self-reliant, or tutoring elementary school children to help guarantee academic success, Garden Valley Neighborhood House is meeting the needs of a community that many have associated only with violence and poverty.
